• Maintaining a culture where safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
• Listening to children and young people, respecting their views, wishes and feelings, and involving them in decisions that affect them.
• Recruiting staff safely through robust recruitment, vetting and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
• Providing regular safeguarding training and supervision to ensure staff understand their responsibilities and are confident in recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns.
• Working in partnership with local authorities, social workers, families, carers, health professionals, education providers, police and other relevant agencies to safeguard children effectively.
• Following national legislation, statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Reporting and responding promptly to any concerns, allegations or disclosures of abuse or neglect.
• Maintaining clear safeguarding, whistleblowing and incident reporting procedures that encourage openness and accountability.
• Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion while protecting children from discrimination, bullying, exploitation, radicalisation, criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation and online harm.
• Continuously reviewing our safeguarding practices to ensure they remain effective and reflect current legislation and best practice.

All staff, volunteers and contractors are expected to uphold this commitment and act immediately if they believe a child or young person is at risk of harm.
